This book was part of a series of photography guides. I was working with an already existing design that had to be adapted to this guide. I worked closely with the author, a photo editor, and the art director to create the layouts for the book. This was an exciting project to work on because of all the fantastic photography.

Borderlands' Educational Kit and Museum Connections Poster
Smithsonian Folklife Festival research was often used to create educational posters and teacher education kits. For this project, I created a full size watercolor painting for the background of the poster. Go to the illustrations page to see the watercolor painting. I then designed the poster and the education kit.
As a freelance designer, I was hired to design a 10' x 20' exhibit panel called "Museum Connections." I then modified the design to create an educational poster which was distributed to schools for free.
